Events Diary

Avid organises and is involved in many events throughout the year, from sponsoring through to tradeshows, where our technology is on display. The following is a listing of upcoming events where Avid products are in use or being demonstrated.

The Edinburgh 48 Hour Film Project

16 - 18 May | Edinburgh, UK

The 48 Hour Film Project comes to Edinburgh on the weekend of May 16. Filmmakers from all over Scotland will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world for the title "Best 48 Hour Film of 2008" and a copy of Avid Media Composer.

Planet Backstage Event 08'

23rd June | Tong Village, UK

On Monday 23rd June 2008, Planet PC will be hosting their 'Backstage' event at the Holiday Inn in Tong Village. Registration will take place at 12 Noon and the exhibition and seminar programme will run from approx. 12 Noon until 6PM followed by a buffet and refreshments from 6PM until 9PM.

Their staff will all be present to chat to customers and to demonstrate products and will be joined by representatives from Avid, as well as others.

This event is an invitation only event and, dependant on the confirmed bookings received from the invitations that will be posted out during April, there may be places available for non-invited individuals.
