Avid Active ContentManager
Overview
Automated Web and IP publishing for broadcast news
Avid Active ContentManager lets you manage and publish video, audio, graphics, and text to web, wireless, ITV, and other IP-based distribution points. Get news content to your Web site quickly and cost-effectively-at the same time that it's produced for the newscast-without adding resources, and using standard Web authoring tools.
In addition to seamless integration with the Avid Broadcast workflow, Avid Active ContentManager collects content from multiple sources, including promotions, advertising, and weather, into a consistent and compelling online presence. Integration with Avid's tools allows for a seamless extension of content delivery from creation through delivery. No longer do broadcasters need to stitch together disparate applications, interfaces and platforms in an effort to maximize their content creation efforts. Avid provides those tools, along with open, industry standards-based interfaces to ensure maximum returns while minimizing vendor lock-in. Extending the Avid Active ContentManager family into studios, production houses, and other media facilities, Avid Active ContentManager SDK Enterprise Edition is the developer version. Rich-media organizations can extend their creative digital assets into new outlets internally and externally, find new audiences, and create new revenue opportunities, without modifying their core, revenue-generating production processes. Note: Product specifications are subject to change without notice.
