Avid and The Halloween Horror Challenge 2007

Avid and BudgetFilmMaker.com have come together once again to support the next generation of indie film makers with a video shorts competition called the Halloween Horror Challenge 2007.  The 'Challenge' invites all aspiring Hitchcocks, Romero's and Shyamalan's to produce a short film on the theme of "The Final Five", such as 'Five minutes to midnight', or 'Five minutes to the end of the world'.

As sponsors, Avid are providing a copy of the latest Avid Xpress Pro software as the first prize, with Pinnacle also offering a copy of Pinnacle Studio Version 11.

Entry is free and the best films will be shown at a Horror Challenge screening in London. The teams behind the winning film shorts will be also asked to submit their entries to Propeller TV for a special programme to be shown on national TV.
